SAM SHEPARD (Author Back Bog Beast Bait, CoAuthor and Slim in The Cowboy Mouth) was born November 5, 1943, at Fort Sheridan, Illinois. He has written a lot of plays which have been performed in a lot of places. Some of them are Up to Thursday, Chicago, Red Cross, Icarus' Mother, Cowboys, Rock Garden, 4-H Club, Forensic and the Navigators, The Unseen Hand and La Turista. He has won three "Obie" Awards. He acts under the name Slim Shadow.
PATTI SMITH (Co-Author and Cavale in The Cowboy Mouth) goes abroad twice a year to sing in bars, wearing a black dress and leaning on pianos. She says her best number is "My Funny Valentine." She also says, "I ain't no actress." As a new member of Actors Equity she has had to change her name since the Union already has another Patti Smith. Our Miss Smith has chosen the name Johnny Guitar.
